The Hunger is a wild Daedra that can be found mainly in the realm of Boethiah, but has also been found in the Shivering Isles, ruled over by Sheogorath. Hungers are thin, sickly looking, grayish green Daedra that have abnormally long limbs, a stinging tail, and a long, hook covered tongue.

Contrary to their looks, Hungers are one of the fastest known Daedra and can overpower humans. When hunting, Hungers usually wait in over hanging trees or rocks, or in tall grasses. When prey is spotted(anywhere from Scamps to Clannfear, or even Dremora), it leaps out and chaces down the creature. As soon as it is close enough, the Hunger whips the creature with its tail, which delivers a neurotoxin that causes temporary paralysis. The Hunger then digs its tongue into the prey and drains it of all its vital fluids.

Although Hungers are considered wild Daedra because they havent reached the point of creating a civilization and serve no Daedra Lord, they are incredibly smart and can understand common speech. They have even been known to set traps and live in packs, communicating in their own telepathic language.
